Stand Down Celebrates Veterans at Annual Gala
The Board of Directors, Advisory Board, staff, and guests celebrated Palm Beach County Veterans at the annual Gala on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Kravis Center – Cohen Pavilion. With several hundred guests in attendance, the evening was full of exciting happenings, including a silent auction of exciting gifts and experiences, the Posting of Colors by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard, inspiring stories of our Veterans, and loving stories from our dignitaries.
Sponsors and individuals alike are always quick to step up and support the Stand Down/Faith Hope Love Charity, Inc. organization. With the simple mindset of “No Veteran Left Behind,” Roy Foster, Executive Director, continues to ask for the community’s support needed to build the infrastructure at the upcoming Village of Valor, a community dedicated specifically to our Veterans and their families. Village of Valor will be more than a standard housing complex. It will be a community that promotes an environment where residents receive encouragement, support and services to improve the quality of their lives…. A place where Veterans can achieve their full potential!
