First Stop Empowerment Center

Stand Down will be the lead service provider at the Village of Valor. Stand Down has provided services for Palm Beach County Veterans since 1994.

A standout characteristic of the Village of Valor is the extensive service package which is available to all residents of the Village as well as to all Veterans and their families residing in Palm Beach County.

Vocational training is an important element of the service program and traditional classroom space with modern technology will be provided onsite. It is anticipated that graduates from the Vocational Training Program will staff the facilities and grounds maintenance, nutritional and security services on the campus.

This one-stop resource center will assist displaced and at risk veterans and their families by providing case management services to assist veterans with temporary financial assistance for rent, deposits, utilities, childcare, etc. In addition, case manager will assist the veteran in identifying and connecting to available resources and services.
